Kl. Scheidegg - Gletscherschlucht, 5 h (Swiss Alps)
This trail sets off from the Kleine Scheidegg at 2'061 m. in a north easterly direction. Over uneven pastures and passed gnarled pine trees you will first reach Bustligen.
Follow the trail along the foothills of the Eiger to Alpiglen at 1'615
m. From the restaurant at Alpiglen turn right and continue over the
pastures and on up through the woods to Bonera at 1'508 m. At this
point you will have a splendid view of the lower Grindelwald glacier.
The trail will now steeply descend, partly over fixed ladders, down to
the glacier gorge at 1'014 m.
